The "Outskirts" exhibition

The participants of the exhibition are representatives of a new generation, which art critics sometimes call "overgrown infantiles", dreamers and visionaries. Their language was formed at the junction of street aesthetics, everyday finds, nostalgia and a thirst for experiment. Over time, the spontaneous gesture developed into mature studio practices and multidisciplinary approach. The exhibition "Outskirts" pleases the viewer with its value, namely the freshness of perception and the versatility of creative methods and ideas: installations, art objects, non-trivial sculptures and panels, graphics, stencil art. "The Outskirts" is not an attempt to "tame" street art by putting it in a museum. This is a meeting of two worlds, where an institution becomes a space for an honest dialogue about the right to a city, about cultural heritage, about who owns a visual space and who has the courage to break patterns in order to create a new one.

The exhibition "On the spot"

The exhibition "On the spot" opens with an unusual prologue. The old doors of the museum, which were removed during the reconstruction of the building, have received a new lease of life. Each of them became the calling card of one of the artists – a symbolic entrance into his artistic world and an invitation to discover the contemporary art of Orenburg. The exhibition brings together six authors – Angelina Solokha, Alexander Suzdaltsev, Rimma Ismagilova, Svetlana Palkina, Elena Meshkova and Dmitry Zuev. Most of the presented works are being exhibited for the first time. The exhibition shows a wide range of artistic practices, from photography and installation to sculpture and painting experiments. Fragments of old city buildings, the nature of the outskirts, and the memory of the flood form a multi-layered portrait of the city. "On the spot" is an exhibition about the city and at the same time about the artists who found their artistic language in it. She invites us to abandon the usual notion that modern art is born only in capitals. Sometimes it's enough to look around more closely to see that it already exists. Here. In place.

Exhibition "Fairy Tales and Elements"

Natalia Parzhetskaya is an artist from the Moscow region, whose work develops in line with symbolism, where the visible invariably strives for the hidden, and images become conduits of inner states. Her path in art began in her early years, when one of her family's close friends, an artist–jeweler, revealed to her the secret of transformation.: how worlds are born from random pencil lines and disordered streaks on paper, endowed with form, breath and meaning. Natalia Parzhetskaya's creative life is not limited to painting. Ceramics, teaching, book design, museum activities – each of these areas leaves its mark, enriching the artistic language, adding new shades, rhythms and intonations. In the master's paintings, elements, feelings, and subtle states acquire color, movement, and voice. They sound quiet or intense, transparent or dense, turning into images close to a legend, a parable, a dream. The exhibition, which has absorbed several years of the artist's creative career, is dedicated to this world.

As part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the event will introduce participants to the culture and traditions of the country's indigenous peoples, strengthening the sense of unity of the multinational people. The ethnographic journey will begin with a story about the diversity of ethnic groups in Russia (more than 190) and the importance of preserving cultural heritage. Then the participants will watch a short video to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of tradition and history. Next, the guests will be divided into teams of 5-7 people, come up with ethnographic names for them, get acquainted with the rules of the game and the jury, which will evaluate the answers. The quiz starts with the "Guess the People" round. Participants are given descriptions of different ethnic groups in turn: where they live, what they do, and what cultural and lifestyle features they have. The teams discuss the answer within a minute and write it down in a form. Points are awarded for correct guessing, but if the team decides to use the hint, the number of points is reduced. The next stage is the "Ethno-logic: Explain the tradition" round. Here the tasks become more complicated: you need not just to name a fact, but to understand and explain the logic of custom. Why the traditional dwellings of the peoples of the North have a conical shape; why winter clothes are sewn with fur inside; why the hearth in the plague is located strictly in the center. The team gets points for a logical and concise answer, and bonus points for a detailed explanation with details. The final stage is the "Truth or lie? Ethnographic facts". "Teams" are offered different statements about the culture and customs of the peoples of Russia, which must be assessed as "true" or "false" and briefly justify their choice. The stage develops critical thinking and helps to dispel common misconceptions. This event not only broadens horizons, but also helps to strengthen interethnic understanding within the framework of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. For questions about the organization of the event, please call +7 (353) 392-16-86.

This will allow viewers to immerse themselves more deeply into the atmosphere of everyday life in a pre-revolutionary Cossack village. Pre-registration is required! Phone: +7 (353) 277-68-71.
