Rostropovich Family House Museum
The main highlight of the Museum House is a very believable hologram of Mstislav Rostropovich performing Cello Suite No. 1 by Johann Sebastian Bach! In addition to the three halls, the museum also includes a workshop and a carriage house. The workshop is exactly the place where Mstislav Rostropovich made his lamps. Now, every week, various workshops are held here, which arouse the interest of both children and adults. The carriage house is a small room in which there are old objects that have completely disappeared from everyday life. Among them are a spinning wheel, collars and much more. During the restoration in the carriage house, three capital cellars were discovered. Now the old decoration has been restored in the cellar, the shelves have been filled with jars of pickles again, and museum visitors will be able to view everything through a special glass.
Mstislav Rostropovich wanted music to always sound in this house, and therefore, continuing the traditions and preserving the history of this place, they try to hold various concerts here on a regular basis. Every weekend there is live music performed by professional Orenburg artists and students of the Institute, which is named after the musician's family — the Orenburg State Institute of Arts named after L. and M. Rostropovich.

After that, a community begins to form around him, and brothers from local pious residents gather. The main business of the brethren was the digging of caves like the Kiev Caves. Over time, the caves went deep into the mountain, forming branched passages connected by circular passages. In 1913, by Decree of the Holy Synod, the skete became the Nikolsky Monastery.
