Who are they, these ordinary people, about whom the writer's soul ached... Ordinary villagers. Everyone has their own pain, their own joy, their own dream. But it is wrong to see in Shukshin only a talented writer of everyday life. Shukshin is more complicated, contradictory, deeper. His characters are characterized by a "combination of multidirectional forces," which is why all sorts of incidents happen to them, they feel incomprehensible agitations, experience unknown feelings. Factory worker Andrey suddenly became interested in microorganisms that can only be seen through a microscope, and his son invited grandma Malanya to visit Moscow, old Glukhov decided to marry in his old age, and another old man dreams of a new balalaika, Stepka suddenly escaped from prison, he incredibly wanted to breathe in the air of his native village…

"Asekeyevsky patterns: traditions of folk embroidery"

"Asekeevsky Patterns" is an educational project dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and aimed at introducing the younger generation to the folk traditions of the Asekeevsky district. During the event, guests will get acquainted with outstanding examples of national toys, including the famous Russian matryoshka doll, original Dymkovsky and Filimonov clay figurines, laconic Kargopol toy, elegant Tver wooden bird of happiness, as well as traditional dolls of the peoples of the Caucasus, Tatar and Bashkir toys and northern products made of bone and wood. The interactive part of the program includes an exciting quiz: participants will be asked to guess the region of origin of a particular toy by its appearance and characteristic ornaments, as well as correlate the toy with a national holiday or custom with which it is historically associated. The second stage is the didactic game "What happened before?": using a set of cards with images of toys from different eras, participants will build chronological rows for several crafts (matryoshka, Dymkov toy, etc.), discuss how shapes and paintings have changed over time, and try to explain the reasons for these changes. The event is dedicated to one of the most ancient and amazing types of folk art – a whistle toy. During the meeting, the participants will not only learn about famous crafts, but also comprehend their deep connection with the spiritual culture of the people, with rituals and calendar holidays, with the ideas of the ancestors about the world and man. Whistling is not just child's play. This is an ancient magical tool that, according to the beliefs of the ancestors, scared away evil forces, called for spring, protected. Participants will learn how pagan rituals and agricultural cults intertwined with folk art, why whistling clay toys has been an integral part of fairground and festive culture for centuries, and hear a story about the origin, development and traditions of making Dymkovsky and Filimonov toys. A separate story will be dedicated to the Akbulak toy, a living tradition of the Orenburg region that incorporated the experience of settlers and local potters and remains Akbulak's hallmark to this day. Here is a living history where the chronicle of the Great Patriotic War and the pain of modernity are intertwined. Poems and music, chorus and poignant monologues of soldiers – from the defenders of the Brest Fortress to the heroes of Stalingrad and the Kursk Bulge. You will see the war through the eyes of those who cried with blue eyes and whispered to their grandchildren: "God forbid you." But time is inexorable. The play asks the main question of today: why do young "peers care"? And what happens when fascism raises its head again, and our fathers and brothers go back to the trenches, obscuring the peaceful sky? The production features authentic lines from letters from war children, the memories of veterans and the names of the Heroes of Russia of our time – those who, at the cost of their lives, fulfilled their duty in the 21st century. From the "Baby" tank, built with the doll money of the girl Ada, to the feat of the Orenburg Heroes of Russia. October 21 marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of Evgeny Lvovich Schwartz (1896-1958), a storyteller, writer, and playwright.During his lifetime, he was called one of the best playwrights of the century, and Schwartz's name became a symbol of kindness and love.
