Description

The monastery's history dates back to 1943 with the registration of the Orthodox community; a key stage was the return of the church building to the faithful in 1989 and the appointment of Archpriest Nikolai Stremsky as rector in 1990. Since that time, the active development of the complex began. A large spiritual and social center has been formed on the territory: the Holy‑The Trinity Cathedral is a smaller copy of the lost Kazan Cathedral of Orenburg, there was an Orthodox gymnasium, a theological school, workshops and a House of Mercy for the elderly.
Today, the monastery remains an important place for pilgrims and tourists: here you can get acquainted with the temple architecture, learn about the traditions of Orthodox service and social work, as well as feel the special atmosphere of the place, closely connected with the difficult history of the region.
