A book is a miracle that accompanies a person throughout his life. My entire adult life is spent next to a book – without it, neither learning nor entertainment could be imagined.
The historical hour will tell about the history of the book's development: from clay tablets and rock carvings to electronic publications. The excursus will help you recall the cognitive facts of book printing in Russia.
The participants will touch particularly valuable and rare books and documents that are kept in the collections of the Central Library. They will be able to identify the heaviest, smallest and most unusual book at the exhibition "The most, the most, the most ...".
