Good Angel of Peace

Good Angel of Peace
One of the most important tasks of the Foundation is to create a unique architectural and park complex "Good Angel of Peace" in all cities of Russia and other countries
Orenburg, April Fourth Square

Description

The """"""Good Angel of Peace"" architectural and sculptural composition was unveiled on June 28, 2008 on the territory of the "Pride and Glory of Orenburg" complex as part of the ""Good Angel of Peace"" project implemented by the International Charitable Foundation "Patrons of the Century".

The composition is a figure of a three-meter-high golden guardian angel with a dove in his hands, on a six-meter four-sided column. The angel walking on the hemisphere represents the Earth, and the dove in his hands is a symbol of Peace and Hope. The whole structure is supported by a square pedestal about three meters high, with
carved text on all four sides. On the front side there is a rather voluminous text about the composition itself. The names of the authors of the artistic concept of the complex are also carved here: O.V. Oleinik, president of the International Union of Charitable Organizations "The World of Good" and P.T. Stronsky, president of the International Academy of Culture and Art.

On the back of the pedestal, under the title "Orenburg patrons of the Centuries", are the names of benefactors of the past. On the sides of the base there are words of gratitude for financial support, assistance in the construction and creation of a complex with a list of organizations, institutions and names of individuals. In front of the pedestal is a stylized image in the form of an unfolded book with the inscription: "The Golden Book of Nations."

The opposite alley leads to the "Alley of Heroes" - there are 20 commemorative plaques with the names of Heroes of the Soviet Union, holders of Orders of Glory, honorary citizens of Orenburg.
