Description
The Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh is a famous religious landmark in Orenburg. This impressive 31-meter-high structure dominates the architectural ensemble of Rostoshi village.
The church was built in 2004 in the Byzantine style. It has four facades with rich portals facing different sides of the world. They are lavishly decorated with marble trim and colored mosaics depicting the faces of saints. The building is crowned with a large gilded dome with a cross mounted on an elegant gazebo.
The luxurious interior of the temple fascinates with its splendor, including colorful murals on the arches and expressive stained glass compositions. The modern iconostasis, decorated with delicate carvings, is surrounded by valuable relics. All divine services are held here, accompanied by the wonderful chants of the church choir.
