Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul

The Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Pavlovka was founded on the initiative of Sergey Ivanovich Ivanov, head of "Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg" company. Construction of the church began in 2009 with funds from Gazprom and donations from parishioners. After 11 months, a beautiful temple grew up in the center of the village, which has now become its main decoration. On October 17, 2010, the church was consecrated by Metropolitan Valentin of Orenburg and Buzuluk.

Since 2011, a Sunday school has been operating at the temple, where students study the Law of God, liturgics, and the Church Slavonic language.
In 2014, a detachment of the "Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders" was organized at the temple. In addition to the spiritual disciplines, the children are engaged in tourism, study first aid, history, field cuisine, participate in hikes and camps both in summer and winter.

After almost seven years, a strong community has formed in our parish, which continues to develop, and I hope this group will help to develop and strengthen it.
