Description
The church was consecrated in 1902.
From 1933 to 1997, the church was closed.
By the decision of the Small Council of the Orenburg Regional Council of People's Deputies "On the state protection of historical and Cultural monuments of the Orenburg region" No. 6-ms dated 03/02/1993, the building of the former St. John the Theologian Church was recognized as a monument of urban planning and architecture of regional significance.
In 1996, restoration work began after the church was transferred to the diocese.
In 2002, the second consecration took place.
