Description
Two-day educational and tourist route "Goats, songs and shawls" – this is a unique journey into the heart of the Orenburg region, where history, folk crafts and modern art are intertwined. Participants will be able to get acquainted with the amazing world of knitting Orenburg down shawls, a craft that not only shaped the region's economy, but also had a significant impact on the development of culture both in Russia and abroad.
During the route, the children will visit a down knitting company, where they will see the process of creating the legendary Orenburg down shawls with their own eyes. A special part of the program will be a tour of the village of Cherny Otrog, the small homeland of the first Prime Minister of Russia V.S. Chernomyrdin, where they will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Cossack culture and down industry. They will also visit a unique museum telling about his life, where they will have the opportunity to transfer to the Prime Minister's office, which was located in the White House in Moscow.
The creative part of the route includes a master class on creating a "Downy Heart" from real goat down, as well as collaboration with artificial intelligence on arranging and writing a piece of music. Participants will try themselves as developers of a mobile application that allows you to virtually tie a down shawl, combining traditional techniques and modern digital technologies. "Wild Goats" animation studio's exciting quest, implemented using a Telegram chatbot and the "Yandex Maps" navigator, will complement the program. During the quest, participants will pass through the most iconic places of the historical center of Orenburg.
A "guess" melody game awaits participants on the bus, and the entire route is accompanied by a mascot toy goat "Isolde" in a down shawl, symbolizing a connection with traditions and adding a special charm to the journey.
In the end, the students will be able to translate their knowledge into creative projects, whether it's writing a song, staging a skit, or doing research, which will allow them to better understand and preserve the cultural heritage of the Orenburg Region. "Goats, songs and shawls" is not just an excursion, but a real immersion in history, craft and creativity that will inspire new discoveries and connect generations.
