Two-day educational and tourist route "Geology & Biotechnology: two elements, one expedition".
Join us on an exciting journey where the worlds of science, nature and art come together! On the two-day tour, you will not only get acquainted with amazing minerals and rocks, but also plunge into the mysteries of biotechnology, discovering the basics necessary to create delicious dairy products.
Day 1: Magic of the Earth and Arts Geological Museum named after A.S. Khomentovsky OSU.
Immerse yourself in the world of amazing crystals and minerals! Discover the secrets of quartz crystals that shine in the light and admire the semiprecious amethyst. You will learn how the jadeite, a bath stone containing 62 elements from the periodic table, fascinates with its beauty. You will also see micas, jasper, asbestos and many other rocks that will tell their unique story. OGPU "Technopark – Quantorium".
Join the interactive lecture "Science is not boring!" where an exciting laboratory analysis awaits you. You will learn how to create space drawings using oil – it is not only scientific, but also incredibly beautiful! Geological tour of the historical center of Orenburg. Walk through the streets of the city and explore the buildings, determining what rocks they are made of. Which stone became the basis for this architectural masterpiece? Find out all the secrets!
"Hermitage-Eurasia" Cultural Center. Enter the Jasper Room, where unique examples of jewelry and craft work by stone-cutting masters from the Orenburg region will give you inspiration. Every detail here is made of the famous Orsk jasper, mined at the "Colonel Mountain".

You will also learn all about the production of yoghurts and kefir and immerse yourself in the world of tasting, analyzing the quality of dairy products! Departure to the "Krasnogorsky" dairy plant. You will discover the processes of industrial milk production by seeing how high-quality products are created on your own farms. You will learn how the company preserves traditional technologies and expands the range, providing high-quality food for everyone!
