One of the most famous toys created by human hands in Russia is everyone's favorite matryoshka doll. She is the bearer of the Russian spiritual values of the country and the historical memory of the people. It combines social structure, way of life, mores and customs, achievements of craft and folk art, technology and art. At the event, students will hear the story of the appearance of a wooden toy, that there are different nesting dolls, and the very first one appeared only at the end of the 19th century. That the whole secret of this doll was that it contained a whole family, the ways it was painted, and the role of the matryoshka doll in the life of the Russian people.
