The master class offers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the traditions of Russian folk painting and master the basic techniques of decorative and applied art.
The lesson program includes a theoretical block telling about the history of Russian folk crafts – Khokhloma, Gzhel, Gorodetsky murals and Palekh miniatures. Participants will learn the specifics of each style, the symbolism of ornaments and the meaning of flowers in the traditional culture of the Russian people.
The practical part involves creating your own product, decorated with a unique author's painting. You will learn how to choose the right paints, brushes and basics for drawing, master the techniques of applying patterns to wooden blanks and create a unique piece of decor with your own hands.
