Supporting aspiring and promising artists is one of the priorities of the Moscow Philharmonic, which has a dynamic multi—level system of cooperation with young people. For many young musicians, the start of their collaboration with the Philharmonic was the subscription cycle "A Look into the Future", which presents concerts of rising stars in the Chamber Hall. These are performances by the best performers of the new generation, who tomorrow may rise to the top of the world musical Olympus.

The main character of the final concert of the subscription in the 2023/24 season will be 19-year-old violinist Grigory Miroshnik, a student at the Moscow Conservatory, winner of the international Beethoven competitions in Austria, Inter Cordes in France and "Art of the XXI Century" in Portugal. The musician dared to present stylistically contrasting music to the audience. "Moonlight", an inspired impressionist landscape from the "Bergamas Suite", will be performed in his interpretation of Beethoven's monumental Sonata No. 7 for Violin and Piano, dedicated to the Russian monarch Alexander I.Debussy arranged for violin and piano, as well as virtuoso concert pieces by Ravel ("The Gypsy", written for Joachim's great-niece, the skilled violinist Jelly d'arany) and Saint-Saens (Introduction and Rondo capriccioso, dedicated to the great Pablo de Sarasate).

Grigory Miroshnik's duet partner will be pianist Anna Tamarkina, a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, a laureate of international competitions, who has reached great heights in the art of accompaniment and was awarded the Best concertmaster award at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition.

"Russian crafts: Fedoskinsky miniature" educational program

The Fedoskin boxes are a famous Russian souvenir that is older than the matryoshka dolls, Zhostovsky trays and Gzhel porcelain. The presenter will tell the participants of the event about the Russian craft, which originated at the end of the eighteenth century: the Fedoskin miniature. Participants will learn why this craft is so called, what is the basis for the products, what they are painted with, and how the subjects of the painting have changed in different historical periods. Who are they calling "troechniki" at the factory and why; how did the Fedoskino panel get into the Guinness Book of Records.

Poetry lesson "Oh, the red summer"

During the poetry lesson, the presenter will tell the participants what an unusual adventure the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky got into in July at the dacha, why Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin did not like this time of year and why the month of July is considered the crown of summer. After reading poems about summer by Fyodor Tyutchev, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Alexander Tvardovsky and other famous poets, participants will be able to find answers not only to these questions, but also to feel how each line contains warmth and admiration for the warmest and brightest time of the year.

Art lesson "Steppe beauty"



The Central District Library invites you to attend an art lesson on creating original compositions from dried herbs and flowers. Experts will teach you the technique of arranging plants in a frame to create an aesthetically pleasing picture, which you will create using a frame, thick paper and dried plants. The eco-painting will complement the interior and will remind you of the summer steppe expanses.

We will also suggest making unique bookmarks for books using a laminator and a transparent film. We will place dried plants inside the bookmark, beautifully decorating it with the library's logo and ribbon.

At the event, participants will travel around the vast country, visit the cities of Siberia, the Far East, the Urals and the Caucasus, where they will get acquainted with cultural and architectural sights, learn interesting facts about national traditions, holidays, rituals related to nature and religion; oral folk art, which reflected the history of the origin of the people, their way of life and holidays. 

July 14th

Folklore lesson "Myths of different peoples: dragons"

Reptilian monsters are very common in the myths of different peoples. In legends, they are endowed with power, depicted with dog heads and clawed paws. In various myths, they have distinctive features, except that they all had wings and they "breathed" fire and brought people a lot of trouble. By attending the event, participants will learn about the main dragons of folk tales, what they represented, where and how they lived, what they hunted, what they were called by different peoples and in which folk tale the dragon was a positive hero and why.

June 11th

Interactive game "Victory will be ours!"

This is a team intellectual game dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The game takes place in a quiz format with interactive elements and includes questions of varying complexity about key events of the war, hero cities, military equipment, famous battles. The event will feature rare newsreel fragments, archival photographs, military equipment footage, and battle maps. This will help to create the effect of immersion in the era and give additional context to the questions.The participants of the intellectual game will not only test their knowledge about the Great Patriotic War, but also learn a lot about the exploits of their compatriots and fellow countrymen from Orenburg.

"The Secret of the Shadow"

A form of scenic visual art based on the play of light and shadow is called shadow theater. At the event, participants will learn about the legend that underlies the creation of this theater, the path of its development, what key elements underlie it and how the shadow theater has adapted to local traditions. At the master class "Five steps to the Shadow Theater", participants will learn how to properly install the screen and backlight, and make figurines. They will play scenes from famous works. All materials are provided by the organizer.

"Book Express" literary program

We invite you to an exciting literary journey, where every step is a new adventure. You will find riddles inspired by classic works, tests of knowledge of quotations and storylines, logical tasks related to literature, the search for connections between characters from different books, as well as unexpected questions that will allow you to look at familiar works from a new perspective. Participants will discover the wealth of Russian and foreign classics, learn little-known facts about their favorite writers and receive inspiration for new literary discoveries.

April 22nd

Educational program "Living heritage: painting"

In the educational program, participants will learn about the famous types of folk painting: Khokhloma, Gzheli, Gorodetskaya, Zhostovskaya, Mezenskaya and others. They will get acquainted with the history of each craft, its characteristic features and stylistic techniques, as well as the symbolism and meaning of the ornaments and motifs used. Special attention will be paid to the analysis of the color scheme, the main elements and motifs used in these artistic traditions. As part of the practical part, participants will work with round wooden templates and special paints. The participants will have to independently make a patterned composition using the type of ornament they like.

Educational hour "Steampunk in literature"

The participants of the event will be involved in the research of a unique trend of "steampunk" – an original cultural trend that integrates elements of retro-futurism, industrial and mechanical design and technological innovations. They will get acquainted with its key characteristics and specific features, as well as the works of such authors as H. G. Wells, China Mieville, Cassandra Clare and Dorofey Larichev. They will have the opportunity to learn about steampunk and deepen their knowledge through the prism of literary works, exploring key aspects of the stylistic features of steampunk literature.

Creative hour "Mechanical charms"

Participants of the creative hour 

not only will they create steampunk jewelry, but they will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with key aspects of this trend in literature and art, and get acquainted with the works of such authors as H.G. Wells, Vadim Panov, Nick Perumov and many others.

Original earrings, pendants, bracelets and key rings in the "steampunk" style will be made using metal gears, springs, levers and other elements that create the impression of a complex mechanism. Steampunk style combines elements of retro-futurism, industrial design and technological progress, which makes it particularly interesting and unusual.

"The Golden Ring of Russia"
