Description
The waterfall is located in the Orenburg region, about 4-5 kilometers from the village of Sara (Kuvandyksky district). The waterfall was formed on an artificially created reservoir, on the Suhaitashka River (Chebakla). In the 80s of the last century, a dam was built on the river by the local branch of the collective farm, which allowed the lake to form. It is noteworthy that the dam was installed not for any needs of the collective farm, but simply for people to relax and fish. In subsequent years, fry were repeatedly released into the dam, attempts were made to maintain and breed them. The river was diverted not along the old riverbed, but slightly to the side - cut out of the rocks, so that the water would not wash out soft ground rocks. Thus, the Sarinsky Waterfall was formed.
Until recently, Sarinsky Pond was not very popular due to its remoteness from populated areas, and few people knew about it. After the publication of the notes in local newspapers, the flow of tourists and vacationers here has increased significantly. Picturesque and peaceful nature, fishing, recreation - that's what attracts tourists here. The adjacent territory to this landmark is fenced by the non-profit partnership of hunters and fishermen "Metallurg" with the support of the administration of the district village council. The organization monitors the cleanliness of the area, carries out restoration work to restore the rocks. Entry to the pond is paid - 150 rubles per car or 200 rubles per fisherman (for summer 2016). The organization also provides places for recreation and campfires, trash cans, and a toilet. A small sauna has been built on the shore and a marina with catamarans has been installed. Many people come here for the whole weekend - they set up tents, cook food over a campfire. There is a spring with clean drinking water in the fenced area.
The pond will also be of interest to fishermen, as fish are artificially bred and fed here, they keep order and are allowed to fish only with a fishing rod. Poachers with nets and other contraptions can't get here. Crucian carp, cupid, carp, carp carp, and even catfish are often caught.
