Monument to the janitor
The sculpture is a tribute to the work of public utilities, as well as a reminder that the city must be well-maintained and clean.
Orenburg, Dzhangildina str., 11

Description

The 1.7 m high fiberglass figure, painted in bronze, depicts a female janitor with a broom in her hands. Next to the figure of the woman is a cat, an inhabitant of Orenburg yards, watching the cleaning process. The monument to the female janitor was chosen because in recent years, the beautiful half of humanity has become predominant in this profession.

The sculpture is a tribute to the work of public utilities, as well as a reminder that the city must be well-maintained and clean. A park has been laid out around the monument on Dzhangildin Street, which has become a new recreation area, benches and urns have been installed here, a sidewalk has been laid, over 100 trees have been planted and lighting has been carried out. The monument was created at the expense of citizens who responded to the appeal of the administration of the Northern District. The residents of the city supported the all–Russian trend of perpetuating ordinary people in monuments.
